The Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) Core Training Curriculum

If you are not yet an approved or provisional QEW:

If you are not yet a QEW, the first step is to complete an online application to become one. Use the appropriate form below:

• Application form for LBNL Employees
• Application form for Subcontractors

Please also send an email to [email protected] to let the electrical safety group know that you've submitted an application. Someone from the Electrical Safety group will then review your application. You need to be approved before you can take any of the other QEW courses.

If you are an approved or provisional QEW:

If you need to enroll in EHS 0540 (QEW 1), EHS 0550 (QEW 2), or EHS 0560 (QEW 3) or any of the QEW practicals, email the electrical safety group at: [email protected] to request enrollment.
